Young Doubles First Hand

Level 9 : 300/600, 0 ante

After a raise from JJ Liu, Justin Young and Shawn Buchman proceeded to get into a raising war that put the short-stacked Young all in. Liu got out of the way, and the two were heads up at the showdown.

Showdown
Young: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Buchman: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

"Chop it up," Young said sarcastically.

The turn was kind of scary for Young though - the {9-Spades}.

"Oh no," he said.

The {k-Hearts} on the river was a clean card though, and Young more than doubled to 8,000 chips.
