Kelly Loses Main, Wins Side

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

With the board reading {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Dan Kelly checked and the next player checked. The third player fired a bet of 500 and the fourth player raised all in for 1,150. Kelly reraised all in, the next player folded and the original bettor called.

Kelly held the {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a wheel and flush draw. One of his opponents, the player who was all in for 1,150 on the flop, held the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} and the other one held the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Kelly was able to win the side pot with a wheel against his opponent's top set. The other player in the hand scooped the main pot with a seven-high straight. Kelly now sits with 5,000 in chips.
