Mercier Makes His Exit

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Mercier: (x)(x) / {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} / (x)
Clements: (x)(x) / {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} / (x)
Josephson: (x)(x) / {4-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} FOLDED
Salazar: (x)(x) / {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} / (x)

Jason Mercier had been crippled in an earlier hand, and had just 300 chips to his name when we came to the table on this hand. Mercier was all in, and got calls from Hernan Salazar, Gregory Josephson, and Samuel Clements. On fourth street, Josephson bet and the other two call. On fifth, Salazar led out, and Clements raised. Josephson folded, and Salazar called. Salazar made two pair on the turn, and bet out. Clements called, and Salazar bet blind on seventh. Clements called again, and Salazar showed {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades} in the hole for a full house. By the time the cards were beign shown, Mercier had already mucked and was heading to the rail. Salazar is up to 80,000 after the hand.

Little Gets Larger, Smith Gets Scooped

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Andrzejewski: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Hearts} / {x-}
Little: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
Smith: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} / {x-}

Jonathan Little was all in by third street leaving Pawel Andrzejewski and Justin Smith playing over a side pot. Andrzejewski bet fourth, fifth and sixth street with Smith calling him down before seventh was checked. Andrzejewski showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for aces and kings to scoop the side pot and half the main pot. Smith couldn't beat that and Little's {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for a 8-7-4-3-2 low took the other half of the main pot.

Little Crippled, Then Triples Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Little: (x)(x) / {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} / (x)
Viox: (x)(x) / {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / (x)

We caught the action on fourth street with Jonathan Little betting out and Chris Viox being the only caller. On fifth street, Viox bet out and Little called. The same happened on sixth street, and on seventh, Viox bet one more time to put Little all in. Little look at his cards and folded them, dropping him to 1100.

A few hands later, Little was all in for 700, and made queens and tens to beat two other opponents. That bumped him up to 2800, but he is still on life support just over one big bet.

Mercier Short

Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Jason Mercier has dropped to about 7,000 after getting scooped by his opponet's two pair.

Mercier: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Spades} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} {x-}

The action went check-check on seventh and Mercier couldn't beat his opponent's {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-} for two pair.

We had another slew of bust outs recently, and David Chiu and Dan Heimiller were amongst the players on their list. We have already lost 60 players, and it doesn't look like there's any sign of slowing down.
