No Urban Achiever

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sean Urban: {x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} / {x-}
Mike Sexton: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{J-Clubs} FOLDED
Tyson Marks: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Clubs} / {x-}
Gerard Rechnitzer: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} FOLDED
Hakon Lundberg: {x-}{x-} / {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} / {x-}

Five way on fourth street, it was checked to Tyson Marks who bet, Rechnitzer folded but Lundberg, Urban and Sexton all made the call. Marks fired on fifth too, Lundberg and Urban called and Sexton folded this time, Marks also bet sixth street and both players called once more.

Seventh was checked around, Marks showed {2-}{3-}{9-} for two pair, Lundberg had {A-}{2-}{10-} for a 7-6-4-2-A low and couldn't beat either half and was chopped up.

Tyson Marks: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} / {x-}
Cory Zeidman: {x-}{x-} / {J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} FOLDED
Sean Urban: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}

Sean Urban had raised on third, getting called in two spots, Urban also bet fourth and fifth, but on the latter Marks raised and Zeidman folded. Urban made the call and then called further bets on sixth and seventh street which Urban sighed and called down.

Marks showed {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a nine-high straight and a 7-6-5-4-3 low, enough to scoop the entire pot.

Zeidman Chopped Up

Urban: {X-}{X-}/{3-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Spades}/{X-}
Marks: {X-}{X-}/{9-Clubs} call, then fold
Zeidman: {X-}{X-}/{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}/{X-}
Viox: {X-}{X-}/{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}/{X-}

This pot got very pricey for Cory Zeidman. After calling bets on fourth, fifth, and seventh street from Sean Urban, as well as a bet on sixth street from Chris Viox, Zeidman saw both players take the roughly 180,000 that he put into this pot.

Viox tabled {J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a 7-5-4-3-2 low, while Urban turned over {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} for threes full of aces to win the high.

Rechnitzer Hits the River to Stay In

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Gerard Rechnitzer
Gerard Rechnitzer

A five way pot was reduced to three players on fourth.

Gerard Rechnitzer: {8-Clubs}{5-Spades} / {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} / {7-Hearts}
Mike Sexton: {A-}{3-} / {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} / {J-Spades}
Cory Zeidman: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades} FOLDED

Rechnitzer fired out his open aces, Sexton and Zeidman were the only callers and Rechnitzer moved his last chips on fifth and both players called. When Sexton hit trips on sixth street he bet and Zeidman folded, Sexton turned over {A-}{3-} but bricked with a {J-Spades} on seventh. Rechnitzer turned over {8-}{5-Spades} and caught a {7-} to catch a low to survive.
