Weisner Chipping Up

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a flop of {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades} Melanie Weisner bet out 575 and was raised by a player at her table to 1,500. She elected to just call.

The turn came the {j-Hearts}, Weisner checked, her opponent bet 1,800, and she check-raised all in and got a call.

Weisner showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for a flopped full house and her opponent showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and was drawing dead. The river was an irrelevant {5-Spades} and Weisner moved up to around 13,000

David Williams' stare is menacing.
David Williams' stare is menacing.

We're never happy to hear a player has busted. But David Williams was seated at table Black 31 in the two seat, which was directly in front of our desk. Williams was in a few hands against the five seat and even though he wasn't staring us down, we were right off the shoulder of the five seat player. We almost folded our laptops under the weight of Williams' stare.

Williams tweeted a pic of his opponent knocking him out with a king high straight flush.

Schoenberg Picks Up a Pot

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Erica Schoenberg picked up a nice pot when she started the action by raising to 300 on the button. The player from the small blind made the call and the flop ran out {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

The player in the small blind checked and Schoenberg made it 500. Her opponent called and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Her opponent bet 850 and Schoenberg reraised to 2,700. After tanking for a bit her opponent made the call.

The {j-Diamonds} hit on the river. The player in the small blind checked and Schoenberg moved all in. Her opponent quickly folded and Schoenberg took down the pot.
