Negreanu Taking on the Russian

Daniel Negreanu raised from the hijack and ran into the Russian force known as Sergey Rybachenko, who three-bet from the button. The blinds got out of the way while "Kid Poker" made the call. The action then went check-bet-raise-reraise-call on the {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, leading to the {4-Hearts} turn. Suprisingly both players checked, as they did on the {2-Hearts} river.

Negreanu showed {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a missed flush draw. Rybachenko then showed {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a missed flush draw of his own, but it was his king that made the difference and gave him the hand.
