Rodman Fighting

Level 10 : 400/800, 0 ante

Blair Rodman has been short all day long but hasn't let it get to him. He has been increasing his chip stack slowly for the past hour or two but can't find any permanent momentum.

From early position he limped, as did another player from late position. The small blind completed and the big blind checked his option. The flop came {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and after two checks from the blinds, Rodman led out 800 and the player in position called.

After the blinds folded, the dealer put down the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Again, Rodman bet and his opponent called. The river was the {10-Hearts} and the bet-call sequence was repeated.

Rodman showed {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for the nut low and his opponent flipped over {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a flopped two pair and tens and eights as his final hand. The pot was split and Rodman continues the fight with 6,000.
