Omaha Specialists Emerge

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

In a field of this size with so many legends of the game, it's easy to look over the recent masters of Omaha who have emerged in the field.

Miguel Proulx had two major Omaha scores last year with a second in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha World Championship and a bracelet in the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event. He is sitting with 71,000 in this event.

James Dempsey came second in last year's $10,000 Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better World Championship and is up to 75,000 in this event.

Scott Clements is by no means a player who ever gets looked over in the events he plays, but people sometimes forget how much success he has had in Omaha. In 2009 he took 3rd in the $5,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better event and 2nd in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better World Championship. Adding to that, he won a bracelet in 2006 in the $3,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better event and in 2007 in the $1500 Pot-Limit Omaha event. A few minutes ago he was up to 75,000 but is now down to 56,000.
