We walked by as Susie Isaacs open-limped from the hi-jack. The play on the button and both blinds also came alone in the limp pot.
The flop brought the 
and both blinds checked, prompting a 2,000 bet from Isaacs. The button and the small folded quickly, as did the big after a little deliberation.
If Isaacs continues to get that kind of respect, we can expect her to make a deep run in this event.
Isaacs is up to 32,000.
William Mckinney: War Veteran and Power Poker Player

We passed by a table and couldn't help but notice former Seniors Champion William "Cigar" Mckinney bullying his opponents into submission. After taking down the title in 2005, Mckinney is looking to capture his second gold bracelet in this tournament. When another player raised to open the betting, we heard Mckinney bark out "All-In!" and watched as he chomped on his trademark cigar while staring the man down.
After a minute or so under the pressure applied by Mckinney's all-in play, the raiser folded his hand and the chips were shipped to the man proudly sporting a hat emblazoned with the words USS Barnes CVE-20.
William Mckinney served on the USS Barnes during World War II and now on Day 2 of the WSOP Seniors Championship, he is the one giving the orders in his mission to win this event for the second time.

A player in middle position opened for 2,900 and Shirley Williams pushed her remaining 5,800 into the middle a couple seats to his left. Everyone else folded and Williams' opponent called.

flop looked good for Williams, but we could see her tense up a little when a 
fell on the turn, giving her opponent an open-ender. However, the river bricked a and Williams exhaled a sigh of relief.
Williams is still very short with 12,000, but we will continue to keep an eye on her to see if she can make a run at following in her son's footsteps and earning a WSOP gold bracelet.
Quack, Quack!
We caught up with Paul "X-22" Magriel as a player in the hijack raised to 2,500. Magriel three-bet to 6,600 and the hijack came along.
The flop fell 
and Magriel's opponent checked it, prompting "X-22" to ask the player for a count. After hearing that the man had only 27,900 chips left, Magriel bet 29,000 and forced the quick fold.

Day 2 of Event #30: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship Almost Underway
Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for Day 2 of our Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship!
A staggering 3,752 seniors registered to play for their shot at a WSOP gold bracelet on Day 1, which, according to Jack Effel, was the largest single-day opening field in the history of the World Series of Poker. It’s no surprise then, that despite only being a $1,000 buy-in event, the player lucky (and skilled) enough to take down first place will receive a hefty $557,435 payout to go along with their bracelet. That’s what I call a good return on investment!
Among those re-joining us today include two-time WSOP bracelet winner Susie Isaacs, backgammon extraordinaire Paul Magriel and poker pro David Williams’ mother – Shirley Williams. Our current chip leader is John Bovin, who managed to accumulate 113,000. The next closest player chip count-wise is Ralph Crow, who will come into Day 2 with 76,100.
