John Bovin Unable to Sustain His Momentum Through Middle of Day 2

We caught up with Day 1 chip leader John Bovin as he attempted to pad his chip stack. Bovin raised to 7,000 from under-the-gun and it folded arounf to the player in the hijack, who reraised all-in for his last 13,700.

Bovin made the call and flipped up {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, but found himself dominated by the {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} held by his opponent. The final board rolled out {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and despite making trip aces, Bovin lost the pot to drop under 65,000 for the day.
