Racener Doubles Through Hellmuth In Dramatic Fashion

Racener: {X-}{X-}/{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Rodawig: {X-}{X-}/{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} - folded
Hellmuth: {X-}{X-}/{K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

John Racener defended his bring in after Eric Rodawig's completion and Phil Hellmuth's call.

On fourth street, Racener bet his pair and Rodawig folded. Hellmuth snap-raised and Racener responded, "Well I love this spot!"

He turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} to Hellmuth's {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Here are the boards through sixth street:

Racener: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}/{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Hellmuth: {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}/{K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Hellmuth peeled the {7-Hearts}, making a flush.

"I want you to admit you sucked out," said Racener with a grin on his face.

"He hasn't yet," said Eric Rodawig.

There would be no suckout for Hellmuth, as Racener turned over the {A-Spades} to fill up and remain in the tournament.

Racener Doubles Through Rodawig

Rodawig: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}/{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Hearts}/{4-Clubs}
Racener: {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}/{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}/{7-Spades}

All in on third street, John Racener fell behind on fourth. However, he took the lead back on fifth and held on for the double with aces up.

John Racener: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}

John Racener completed and Phil Hellmuth made it two bets. Racener called and called all the streets before both players checked on seventh. Racener checked his cards and said, "You're good Phil," before mucking. Hellmuth showed {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts} to scoop.

Soon after Racener lost another pot, this time to Eric Rodawig.

Racener's board was {2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and he check-called bets on sixth and seventh against Rodawig's board of {J-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. The latter showed {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for two pair which was good for the pot.

Ted Forrest Eliminated in 4th Place ($123,904)

Ted Forrest - 4th place
Ted Forrest - 4th place

Hellmuth: {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}/{3-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}/{Q-Diamonds}
Forrest: {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}/{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Racener: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}/{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}/{5-Hearts}

Phil Hellmuth was the bring in and Ted Forrest called. John Racener completed, getting calls from both Hellmuth and Forrest.

Hellmuth checked fourth street, Forrest bet, and was called by both. Fifth street saw Hellmuth and Forrest both check to Racener who tanked for a bit before betting. After getting called by both, sixth street gave Hellmuth a pair of kings. He bet, Forrest raised all in, and Racener called.

Seventh street was checked by both as Hellmuth announced kings. That didn't interest Forrest, though, who was praying Racener didn't have a low. He did, unfortunately for Forrest.
