"How Does That Happen?"

Justin Cohen raised to 18,500 preflop and then Chris McClung moved all in for a total of 109,000. Cohen called and found that he had the advantage.

Cohen: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
McClung: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

McClung was going to need a lot of help to stay alive and the flop brought just that when it came {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The turn of the {k-Diamonds} and the river of the {7-Hearts} couldn't help Cohen who shipped a decent part of his stack over to McClung.

"How does that happen?" lamented Cohen after the hand.
