Kelopuro Doubles

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Dario Alioto raised from the button only to be three-bet the pot from Sami Kelopuro in the big blind. The raise was for 470,000 more and after some thought Alioto announced that he was all in. Kelopuro who had just 355,000 more after his raise made the call and the hands were turned up with Kelopuro at risk.

Alioto: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Kelopuro: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The flop was a clean {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} and the turn was the {8-Clubs}. Kelopuro was still ahead with his Queen's and the {j-Clubs} river made him an unnecessary straight. He'll take it nonetheless as the board failed to improve Alioto's hand and just like that he has 2.2 million in chips.
