Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Lucille Cailly has just seen her chip stack take a hefty hit after she lost a 65,000 pot all in preflop to a shorter stack. It was Cailly's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} against the {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} of her opponent but the turn wasn't the set she wanted to make when the board came {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Current mood: Opposite of happy bunny.

Smith Soars, Binger Crippled

With an all in of 6,400, Jordan Smith three-bet before Nick Binger moved all in. Smith made the call for his 33,100 as all three players cards were tabled.

Binger: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Smith: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board was spread {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} to see the short-stacked player triple as Smith took the side pot to move to 66,000 while Binger was left with only 15,000.

Poker Vox Pop: Bernard Lee

Bernard Lee
Bernard Lee

On one of the final hands of the level we found Bernard Lee check-calling 6,200 on a {3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades} board to see the {Q-Clubs} land on the river. Lee was then faced with a 7,500-chip bet which - after deliberating for some time - he called only to muck at the sight of his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Although Lee slipped to 16,000 after the hand, he happily took a few moments of his time to take part in the next Poker Vox Pop instalment.
