Event #49 Kicks Off at 5:00 PM

Welcome to another marvelous day inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for the 2011 World Series of Poker. On the menu for 5:00 PM PT today is Event #49, $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit). Last year, the event attracted 291 players and Peter Gelencser emerged victorious for $180,730.

Gelenscer defeated a final table that included Raphael Zimmerman, David Chiu and Jameson Painter — some serious deuce-seven competition. You can expect many big names to be out for this event and once they arrive, we'll let you know who's on hand.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the June 28th from our very own Lynn Gilmartin. And if you're wondering why her hair is longer than normal, it's because she extended herself a bit.
