Stefanelli Staves Off Elimination

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Stefanelli: {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} / {6-Hearts}
Wice: {2-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} / {4-Hearts}

Bruno Stefanelli was in dire need of a double up with just about 2500 chips, and he got all of those in the middle on three street against Alex Wice, who was the only caller. Stefanelli flipped up {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for an early straight draw, and Wice showed {2-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a baby pair. Wice would get two pair by the end, but Stefanelli had a better two pair with tens and nines, and took down the pot to boost his stack to 5,600. Wice dropped down to 28,000.
