Marsha Wolak cheers her double up.
Katherine Stahl limped in early position as did Marsha Wolak in the cutoff. Karina Jett checked her big blind as the three saw a flop where fireworks would ensue. Jett checked to Stahl who bet 40,000 and Wolak moved all in. Stahl made the call and after it was counted down, she had Wolak who had 250,000 left barely covered as the players showed their holdings.

Stahl was in commanding lead with her top two pair but Wolak picked up a flush draw when the hit the turn. The river came the to give her the flush as she doubled up and Stahl was crippled.
Katherine Stahl moved all in from under the gun for 15,000 which was 1,000 short of the big blind. Karina Jett called the big blind from the small and Valerie McColligan checked her option as the two formed a sidepot.
Jett and McColligan both checked it all the way down on the board and Jett turned over for a pair of kings. McColligan mucked which gave Jett the small sidepot but Stahl revealed for a flush to survive the all in and chip up.

Genevieve Gloutnez - 8th Place ($17,537)
Katherine Stahl moved all in again from under the gun like before, this time for 61,000 and Carol Tomlinson made the call right behind her. Genevieve Gloutnez shoved all in herself for 332,000 on the button and Tomlinson snap called and immediately flipped over her hand.

Tomlinson was in dominant position to knockout two players until the flop came down to catapult Stahl into the lead with bottom set. The on the turn and on the river changed nothing as Stahl tripled up and Gloutnez was eliminated while Tomlinson took down the side-pot to increase her lead.
It was folded around to Jennifer Cowan on the button who raised to 38,000. Marsha Wolak three-bet to 70,000 from the small blind and Cowan made the call as the two saw the flop. Wolak c-bet for 40,000 which got Cowan to fold and although she didn’t have to Wolak turned over for a set of aces and the nuts at the time as a nice gesture to show her opponent that she was beat.

Jennifer Cowan - 7th Place ($22,750)
On the last hand before the break, Jennifer Cowan raised to 35,000 from under the gun and received a call from Katherine Stahl in the small blind. Carol Tomlinson was in the big blind and said, “How can I fold here, I’m gonna flop the nuts!” before she called as well.
The flop came down and it was checked over to Cowan who bet 70,000. Stahl folded but Tomlinson check-raised and Cowan moved all in. Tomlinson made the call and the players turned over their hands.

Amazingly, Tomlinson had flopped the nuts just as she had predicted and was in great shape to knockout Cowan who would need runner-runner to survive.
