Missen Aborted

Kevin Vandersmissen raised to 325 from the hijack before the button moved all in for 1,225. Jeff Kimber called out of the small blind and Vandersmissen also made the call to see a flop of {Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Kimber fired out 1,600 and Vandersmissen sighed and folded, Kimber showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} against the all-in's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} - holding on the {8-Diamonds} turn and {5-Clubs} river.

One Shark in the Field

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

In the midst of all these unknown faces, we do have one shark. We just spotted Humberto Brenes for the first time today.

Humberto is chewing gum today. Loudly. And that damn plastic shark just never gets old...

Moorman, Moorman, Number One

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in middle posiiton opened to 450, and Chris Moorman three-bet shoved for about 2,500 with {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. The opponent made the call, and his {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} had Moorman's tournament life in grave danger.

But the dealer had other ideas. The board ran out {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {6-Spades}, and Moorman spikes his set to double up. Mark him down for about 5,200 now.

The Numbers Are In

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Registration has closed up shop for the day, and the numbers are in. A hefty 4,576 players turned up over the last two days, generating a prize pool in excess of $4 million -- $4,118,400 to be exact. That money will be spread out over the last 468 players left standing, and the bottom payout is worth $1,812, a bit less than twice the buy-in.

The final three tables will pay out a minimum of $20,303, and everyone who makes the final table will earn at least $53,333. The six-figure payouts start at 6th place, and the last three will all earn more than a quarter-million dollars. The winner? How about $648,880 and a shiny gold bracelet?

The full breakdown of the prize pool will be in the Payouts tab up there in just a moment.
