Morgousky Doubles, Leibold Busts

With the board already reading {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Mickael Morgousky put the last of his chips in the pot against Irme Leibold. Morgousky showed his {5-}{5-} for a set of fives which was good enough to win the pot and double his stack. Leibold wasn't left with much in his stack and was eliminated in a hand shortly after this one.

Ness Hits the Rail

With the board reading {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, action checked over to hijack who bet 16,000. Jason Vanstrom then went all in from the small blind for a total of 336,000 and Stephen Ness followed suit from under-the-gun putting his last 274,000 in the pot as well. The hijack got out of the way and the hands were revealed.

Ness: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Vanstrom: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Vanstrom's set of deuces was leading Ness' pair of kings. The turn only added insult to injury when it brought the {2-Clubs} giving Vanstrom quads. Just to rub more salt in Ness' wound, the river brought the {k-Clubs} giving him a full house that was still second best. Ness was eliminated while Vanstrom chipped up to 650,000.

Warren-ting a Double Up

Max Lykov raised to 22,000 from the cutoff and Warren Wooldridge reraised all in from the small blind, Lykov thought for a bit and made a good call with {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} since his opponent turned over {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. But the board didn't favour the Russian, coming {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades} to double the Englishman.

Three "J's" All-in

James Waldron, James Matteucci, and Jamal Sawaqdeh ended up all in preflop with Waldron's hand leading the way.

Waldron: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Sawaqdeh: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Matteucci: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} putting Matteucci's pair of kings into the lead. The turn and river brought the {3-Hearts} and {8-Diamonds} changing nothing and Matteucci won the pot while Sawaqdeh was eliminated.

Leecy Sends Epstein to the Rail

After becoming short-stacked on a recent hand, Epstein's day has now come to an end.

After a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Epstein got the remainder of his chips in holding the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against Matthew Leecy's {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Epstein's set was leading even after the turn brought the {2-Hearts}, but the {k-Clubs} on the river gave Leecy a straight and sent Epstein to the rail.

Leecy's Stack is Looking Great

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The board was already showing the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Christopher Chatman bet out 100,000 from the big blind. Matthew Leecy called and they saw the {2-Hearts} come on the river. Chatman bet 150,000 and Leecy went all in for 244,000 total. Chatman decided to call but mucked his hand after Leecy revealed his {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for tens full of queens.

After the hand Leecy was up to 865,000 while Chatman was left with 140,000.
