Alioto All In, Survives

Level 11
Dario Alioto
Dario Alioto

Limit Hold'em

Before the flop, Jared Bleznick raised from middle position, Steve Billirakis reraised from the button, then a short-stacked Dario Alioto four-bet from the small blind. The big blind folded, and both Bleznick and Billirakis called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, inciting lots of action. Alioto bet, Bleznick raised, and Billirakis called the two bets. Then Alioto reraised all in with his last chips, Bleznick raised once more, and Billirakis called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}. Bleznick bet and Billirakis called. Then both checked the {8-Hearts} river.

Alioto showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, which was good enough to claim the main pot. Bleznick showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and his tens were best to take the small side pot versus Billirakis' {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Alioto survives with about 140,000, Bleznick now has 225,000, and Billirakis 330,000.
