Seiver Scoops

Level 12

Stud-8

Scott Seiver brought it in, Bertrand Grospellier completed, Sebastien Sabic called, and Seiver called as well. Sabic bet fourth and his two opponents called. It checked to Sabic on fifth and he bet again, getting two calls once more. Seiver led on sixth and ElkY and Sabic called. Then on seventh Seiver bet, Sabic folded, Grospellier raised, and Seiver called.

Seiver: (X)(X) / {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / (X)
Grospellier: (X)(X) / {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} / (X)
Sabic: (X)(X) / {5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{K-Clubs} / (X)

Only one of the three tabled his down cards, as Seiver showed {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a full house and both of his opponents mucked.

Seiver leaps to 775,000 on that one and is now challenging Brian Hastings for the lead. Meanwhile, Grospellier falls to 145,000. Sabic slipped to 56,500 here, but doubled up through David Bach on the following hand to get back to 120,000.
