Another Escape for the Amazing Lind

Level 22
George Lind
George Lind

Stud-8

George Lind has been hanging on with the short stack pretty much since we returned from dinner break. And he's been all in with his tourney life on the line too many times to count. Take a look at his tweets since then (@GeorgeLindIII):

Lol was down to 17k then won 2 all in triple draw hands got 200 now #wsop55

Last break was down to 17k then won 3 straight allins and a couple more hands got 690k now 14ppl left #wsop55

524k won another allin in razz hanging around 11ppl left #wsop55

We noted last level how he'd survived another all-in situation after hitting a three-outer on the river in a limit hold'em hand. Now here's the story of another Houdini-like escape from Lind…

George Lind: (X)(X) / {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / (X)
Owais Ahmed: (X)(X) / {4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} - FOLDED
Vladimir Shchelemev: (X)(X) / {4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades} / (X)

A reraise by Lind chased Phil Hellmuth out on third and got two callers in Ahmed and Shchelemev. Ahmed bet fourth and Lind and Shchelemev called. Then Ahmed checked fifth, Shchelemev bet, Lind raised, Ahmed folded, Shchelemev three-bet, and Lind was all in.

Shchelemev had {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs} in the hole, then drew the {2-Spades} on seventh to end with aces and deuces and no low. Lind turned over {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, then squeezed his seventh street card… the {K-Clubs}! Trip kings for Lind to scoop, and he survives yet again!

Lind goes from the brink of elimination to 1.58 million, while Shchelemev now has 610,000.
