Hellmuth Getting His Phil

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #68

Phil Hellmuth had the button. He raised to 225,000, Owais Ahmed called from the small blind, and Minh Ly defended his big blind. The flop came down {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Ahmed checked, Ly fired 250,000, and Hellmuth raised to 600,000. Ahmed released, and Ly went into the tank before folding.

Hand #69

Owais Ahmed had the button. Phil Hellmuth opened to 225,000 from the cutoff, and Brian Rast defended his big blind. The flop fell {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Rast checked, and Hellmuth immediately continued for 400,000. Rast called.

The turn was the {6-Spades}, and Rast checked again. Hellmuth fired 650,000, and Rast released.

"Show that one, Phil," Ahmed asked.

Hellmuth did not, rather he quietly raked in the pot.
