Ahmed and Rast Both Shove

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #92

Phil Hellmuth had the button. He opened to 180,000, and Minh Ly defended his big blind then checked dark. The flop came down {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Hellmuth checked behind.

Ly checked dark again, the turn was the {k-Clubs}, and Hellmuth fired 130,000. Ly check-raised to 310,000, Hellmuth folded an {a-} face-up, and Ly won the pot.

Hand #93

Owais Ahmed had the button. He open-shoved for 1.22 million and won the pot.

Hand #94

Minh Ly had the button. He opened to 160,000, and Brian Rast three-bet all in for 2.56 million from the small blind. Phil Hellmuth immediately stood from his chair and stared down at Rast's stack. He winced, put his hands on his hips, then sat back down. Hellmuth sweated his cards one more time, shrugged, then announced, "Fold."

Ly quickly released, Rast mucked face-down, and Hellmuth showed {a-}{q-}.
