Lellouche Rising

Antony Lellouche, who started the day with 150,000 in chips has had a decent first level and start to the second so far today. Just now, a middle position player opened for 12,000 and Lellouche called on the button. On the {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, the opener led for 15,000 and Lellouche called. When the {4-Hearts} hit the turn, the opener checked this time and now it was Lellouche’s turn to bet for 24,000. This got his opponent to fold and Lellouche took down the pot to cross the 400,000 chip mark.

Bjorn to be Wild

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

When we reached Table 361, a short-stacked opponent had bet 13,500 after a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Bjorn Li put the player all in, and they called.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Li: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Li was in trouble, that is until the {a-Hearts} ripped off on the turn. The river was a meaningless {2-Hearts}, Li eliminated his opponent, and his stack is now up above 500,000 chips.

Dehkarghani Bust One

All the money was in the middle before the flop when our PokerNews field reporter arrived on the scene; an opponent had moved his last 60,000 in holding {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, ahead of Raymond Dehkarghani who had called with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The opponent pumped his fist and cried "Yes!" after the flop of {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, but when the {A-Hearts} spiked on the turn, he bellowed out a very loud, "Son of a ...!" but quickly stopped himself and cautiously looked around for the floor staff. Nobody was within range, so he muttered, "B*tch," after the {7-Spades} blanked out on the river.

The player then wheeled around and bolted out the door, cursing under his breath. Dehkarghani thought nothing of it, and he quietly stacked up his chips. He's now holding almost 400,000.

Rousso On a Roll

Vanessa Rousso
Vanessa Rousso

We caught up with the action on in a raised four-way pot.

The flop read {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Vanessa Rousso led out for 22,000. She found one caller from the player in the hi-jack position.

Rousso then check-called a 32,000 bet from her opponent when the {A-Clubs} fell on the turn.

When the {5-Diamonds} completed the board, Rousso led out for 40,000. Her opponent deliberated for a but and then slid out a raise to 110,000 total. Rousso quickly called.

"You're good," her opponent said. Rousso flipped over {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and her opponent mucked.

Rousso is up to 950,000.
