Grinder Gives Some Away

Level 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi raised from middle position and was called by the player in the nine seat. The player in the big blind was on the short stack and re-popped the bet. The Grinder four-bet and seat nine got out of the way. Mizrachi's opponent in the big blind put the rest of his stack at risk and the owner of the chips in the middle was to be determined by the next five cards, as we were off to the races.

Mizrachi: {A-}{K-}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The flop came down {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} giving the Grinder's opponent a set of tens and leaving Mizrachi with four jacks as outs. The turn and river were no help, however, as they fell {4-Clubs} and {6-Diamonds}, and left Mizrachi without a significant amount of the chips that he started the hand with.
