Sam Stein Eliminated in 3rd Place ($264,651)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Sam Stein - 3rd place
Sam Stein - 3rd place

Sam Stein had the unfortunate position of being the short stack in between Amir Lehavot and Jarred Solomon. From the big blind Stein moved all in preflop following an opening raise from Lehavot in the small blind. Lehavot called and the hands were tabled.

Showdown:
Stein: {A-Spades} {6-Diamonds}
Lehavot: {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}

Stein was in bad shape and needed help to double up. He whiffed on the flop when it came {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades} {5-Clubs}. Stein needed running straight cards or one of the remaining sixes to double up. The turn came {3-Spades} followed by {7-Hearts} and Stein's tournament was over.
