Turker Climbing

Sean Getzwiller opened the button to 250,000 and Sadan Turker made the call to see a {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop fall.

Getzwiller fired out a 275,000-chip continuation-bet which Turker check-called as the {2-Spades} rolled off on the turn.

Once Turker checked, Getzwiller pushed out 510,000, which after roughly 30 seconds, Turker called before the {2-Hearts} was checked through on the river.

Getzwiller tabled his {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, but it would be Turker's {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} that would see him capture the pot to move to 7.5 million as Getzwiller slipped to 5 million in chips.

Getzwiller Gets It In Good, Doubles Through Turker

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Sean Getzweller

After four consecutive pots in which a single raised won the blinds and antes, Sean Getzwiller raised to 250,000 from the button and Sadan Turker stared his man down intently. He must have seen something he liked, because Turker decided to put Getzwiller to the test by reraising all-in.

Getzwiller snap-called and stood to throw down his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, finding himself in a dominating position against the {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} held by Turker. With the shorter stack, it was Getzwiller who has at risk and both players waited for the dealer to decide their fates.

Flop: {3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Getzwiller flopped a four flush and Turker was still behind, but he added a gutshot straight draw to his list of outs. The turn card fell {3-Clubs} and nothing had changed. Turker would need to spike a seven or a non-diamond four to eliminate Getzwiller and capture his first WSOP bracelet.

River: {A-Hearts}

With his supporters calling loudly for an ace, the dealer delivered the right card and Getzwiller had doubled up to 6,750,000. This means both players are effectively even in chips and this heads-up duel will begin anew.

Tens No Good for Getzwiller

Sean Getzwiller made it 250,000 to go from the button and Sadan Turker defended his big blind to see a {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop fall.

The action was checked to the turn where Turker led for 325,000 into Getzwiller when the dealer delivered the {7-Spades}.

Getzwiller made the call, and when the {K-Spades} was produced on the river, he would now be faced with a 580,000-chip bet. Getzwiller immediately made the call tabling his pocket tens, but it would be Turker's {K-Hearts}{9-Spades} that would see him shipped the pot to move to 7.4 million as Getzwiller slips back to 5.1 million.

Sadan Spikes An Ace, Takes Small Pot

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

On one of the few hands to see a flop, Sean Getzwiller called Sadan Turker's preflop raise of 340,000 and the dealer spread the {10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} across the felt.

Getzwiller checked and Turker fired a bet of 375,000 into the middle. Keeping with his apparent strategy of refusing to three-bet, Getzwiller mucked his hand and Turker took the pot. He flashed the ace of spades as he collected the chips and Turker appears content to capture the small pots in this battle.

Turker Turns The Screws On Getzwiller

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

In a near carbon copy of the last hand, Sadan Turker opened to 360,000 from the button and Sean Getzwiller made the call. The flop came {10-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Getzwiller tapped the table, checking to Turker.

This opening was all Turker needed and he began sliding a stack of chips worth 500,000 into the middle. The mve to bet was all it took, however, and Getzwiller beat him into the pot with his mucked cards.

Chop It Up

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Sean Getzwiller limped in and Sadan Turner checked his option as both players tapped the table when the {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop was spread.

Getwiller fired out 200,000 when the {5-Diamonds} landed on the turn as Turker made the call before leading for 550,000 when the river fell the {3-Hearts}. Getzwiller called and tabled his {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and when Turker tabled his {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, the pot was chopped up.
