The Clock is Ticking at Varkonyi's Table

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

We caught up with the action on an {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and 6,500 already in the pot. Robert Varkonyi moved all in and it was up to his opponent to call. Another player at the table decided to call the clock and the floorman came over for the minute countdown. The player then said that he would wait until there was one second left before he made a decision. The floor said that he would get a penalty for stalling if he did that. So after about five seconds, he picked up the clock and the cards and threw them both. Varkonyi was up to 11,000 after the hand.
