Double for Kenney

Mark Dickstein had the bring-in with the {2-Hearts} and ended up calling Bryn Kenney's completion. Dickstein then called a cet on the turn before calling Kenney's all-in bet of 18,000 on fifth street.

Dickstein: {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} / {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {10-Spades}
Kenney: {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {8-Spades}

Dickstein ended with two pair, but it was second best to Kenney's sixth-street straight.

Lisandro Back in Contention

Tom Finne brought it in with the {3-Clubs} and then folded after Jeff Lisandro completed and Perry Friedman called. The turn saw Lisandro bet and Friedman call, action that would repeat itself on each subsequent street.

Friedman: (x-x) / {3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} / (x)
Lisandro: {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts} / {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The five-time bracelet winner made aces up and took down the pot.

First Hand of the Final Table to Friedman

Perry Friedman
Perry Friedman

Perry Friedman had the bring in with the {2-Hearts} and then called the completion by Bryn Kenney, who was showing the {Q-Clubs}. Friedman proceeded to call bets on both the turn and fifth street before taking the lead and betting sixth. We didn't catch Kenney's card on sixth, but the result was the same as he folded his hand.

Kenney: (x-x) / {Q-Clubs}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}(x)
Friedman: (x-x) / {2-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Eugene Katchalov Eliminated in 9th Place ($18,693)

Eugene Katchalov
Eugene Katchalov

Eugene Katchalov completed with the {A-Hearts} and Dickstein called with the {9-Diamonds} showing. The latter then called a bet on the turn before taking the lead and betting out on fifth. Katchalov made the call and then bet when Dickstein checked sixth.

Dickstein woke up with a check-raise, Katchalov called and then Dickstein bet seventh. Katchalov made the call, leaving himself just 4,000 behind.

Katchalov: (x-x) / {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Hearts} / (x)
Dickstein: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades} / {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

Dickstein's full house was good as Katchalov mucked. On the very next hand, Katchalov put 3,000 in for the ante and committed his last 1,000. Fittingly, it was Dickstein who would finish him off and send him to the payout desk in ninth place.

More for Monnette

John Monnette completed with the {8-Diamonds} and then called a raise from Bryn Kenney, who was showing the {Q-Clubs}. Monnette then check-called a bet by Kenney before check-raising a bet on fifth. Kenney not only called that bet, but one on sixth street as well. Both players then checked seventh and Monnette rolled over a pair of aces.

Monnette: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} / {8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Kenney: (x-x) / {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} / (x)
