Sexton Drags One

We didn't catch the action until sixth street, but there was a big pot developing between Scott Bohlman and Mike Sexton.

When Sexton bet sixth, Bohlman raised, and they checked down seventh street. Sexton opened up his hand first, revealing {10-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} / {3-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {4-Spades} for trips. They were good, and Sexton is close to 60,000 as he drags in that pot.

Friedman Catches Four Crabs

Marco Traniello completed with the {5-Diamonds} showing, and he found calls from both Perry Friedman's {3-Spades} and Annie Duke's {10-Diamonds} . Duke drew the {8-Clubs} on fourth and folded, so we'll pick up live with the other two:

Traniello check-called a bet on fourth street. On fifth, he made a leading bet of his own, and Friedman stuck in a raise. Traniello called, then check-called bets on sixth and seventh.

Friedman opened up {A-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts} / {3-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {A-Spades} , and quad threes are hard to beat. Friedman takes down a big pot of his own, improving to about 44,000 in the process.

Allen Cunningham completed with the {Q-Hearts} and was called by Matthew Kelly, who happened to be showing the inferior {10-Hearts} . The turn saw Cunningham check-call a bet before Kelly took the lead and fired out on fifth. Cunningham called yet again and watched Kelly bet out on sixth. This time Cunningham sprung to life with a raise and it was Kelly who called. The latter check-called a bet on seventh only to muck when Cunningham showed queens and tens.

Traniello Finds a Pot

Lee Goldman completed with the {A-Clubs} , and he found action from Marco Traniello (with the {10-Diamonds} ) and Frank Kassela (with the {2-Spades} ). Goldman drew the {9-Diamonds} and check-folded on fourth street.

Traniello bet fourth street and called a raise from Kassela, but he fired right back out when he paired up on fifth. Kassela called that bet and another one on sixth street before they check-checked through seventh.

Traniello showed up {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Hearts} , and his queens up were good.

Kassela flashed his {8-Spades} {9-Spades} and said, "Flush draw. Every spade was live, too. Not one dead spade."

Live or not, he couldn't find a fifth one, and that loss has set him back to about 43,000.

Schulman's Favorite Color is Violette

Nick Schulman completed with the {Q-Spades} and was called by the player in Seat 5 and Cyndy Violette, who showed the {8-Hearts} and {9-Diamonds} respectively. All three players proceeded to check the turn before Seat 5 checked fifth street. Violette took the opportunity to fire out a bet, Schulman called and Seat 5 got out of the way.

Schulman then led out on sixth and Violette called. Seventh saw Schulman bet yet again, but this time Violette opted to give up the hand.

After Annie Duke completed with the {10-Diamonds} , Bryn Kenney raised with the {A-Clubs} . The rest of the players got out of the way and Duke not only called that bet, she called a bet on the turn as well. Then, when she took the lead on fifth, she led out and it was Kenney's turn to call. That action repeated itself on sixth before both players checked seventh.

We joined this three-way on fourth street.

Pescatori did the betting on fourth street, and Michael Sigel called all in. Steve Billirakis called too, and he was getting short on chips by that point, too. On fifth, Pescatori bet, and Billirakis raised to put himself all in. The rest of the boards were run out, and the hands looked like this:

Just before the level up we picked up the action on the turn when Jeffrey Yass check-called a bet from Shaun Deeb. This would be repeated on every street, which resulted in Deeb having the vast majority of his stack in the pot. Luckily for him, his well-disguised trip aces was good and he took down the monster pot.
