Ivey Through

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

The last time we checked on Phil Ivey he was a huge chip leader heads-up. As he came wandering past our table we asked if he finished the job off.

"Yeah, and I played amazing!" he said with a big smile on his face.

Confusing Dinner Plans

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Originally their was a 90-minute dinner break for all scheduled at the end of this level (6:45pm). Most tables are three-handed or less now so it seems as if the floor staff are going to let each table decide for themselves if they want to go for dinner.

If any table does take the allotted break, as is their right, they will come back and be a level behind. Things could get a little confusing for us in a while! We'll keep you posted on any updates to this situation.

Break For One

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Players are being given the option of taking their 90 minute break or playing one more hour level and receiving a 30 minute break. From what we are hearing only one table is opting to take their full 90 minute break.

Level: 7

Blinds: 300/600

Ante: 75

Two Tables Opt for the Full Break

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Two tables over in the Pavillion room have decided to take the 90-minute dinner break now. One was still three-handed and the other one was at the heads-up stage.

They'll be a full level behind wen they resume play at around 8:15pm.

Edit: Three table from Brasilia seem to have decided too take the extended break as well, so that's five total.

More Advance

Scott Clements saw me walking to his table when he was bagging up his chips. "44,850," he said to me as if reading my mind.

Ben "@TFPbenji" Jenkins Tweeted: "ATh > K4 ftw. First flag on the board :) #wsop."
