Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
At least somebody acknowledged Hellmuth.
At least somebody acknowledged Hellmuth.

After bagging up in the Razz tournament on the other side of the Amazon room, Phil Hellmuth stopped by to see how the heads up match was going. Hellmuth stood next to the table for a few moments but was not acknowledged by either player.

"Good luck, gentlemen," Hellmuth said, but was not acknowledged by either player. Hellmuth then sauntered over to talk to Doyle Brunson in the stands and is now in the commentary booth.

Two For Todd

Todd Brunson completed and Adam Friedman called. Brunson bet on fourth and fifth showing {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The bet on fifth caused Friedman to fold and Brunson took the pot.

The next hand Brunson bet on every street up until fifth once again with his board reading {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} to Friedman's {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Friedman mucked on fifth once again and gave Brunson the pot.

Table Talk

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
The Mothership.
The Mothership.

Todd Brunson and Adam Friedman have been exchanging nominal pots, and they've been chatting all the while. Recently, Friedman sent one of his railbirds to the poker kitchen to grab a sandwich, and when the gentleman returned, Friedman promised to buy him a lap dance later. Brunson and Friedman then starting talking about sports betting, and Friedman told Brunson that his father has been sports betting since he was eight, and has only had two losing years.

Oh yeah, the two are still playing heads up for $269,037 and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Friedman Gets There

Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}

Adam Friedman bet out on fourth and Todd Brunson called. Brunson then took over the aggression betting on fifth and sixth. Friedman was not happy on sixth street as he angrily plopped down a call.

Brunson fired again on seventh.

"I was really hoping for a check there," exclaimed Friedman. He peeked at his cards. "Since you've got the flush showing I just call. Sorry."

Friedman tabled {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a straight and was able to scoop the pot against Brunson's pair of kings.
