McMillin Smashes Quads in Big Three-Way All-In Pot

From under the gun plus one, David Dalesandro raised all in for 53,000. In the next seat, Jason McMillin reraised all in for 62,500. Right behind him in the next spot was Zachary Humphrey and he moved all in for just over 80,000. Everyone else folded and over 150,000 in chips were up for grabs in the three-way all-in pot. Here's what we saw.

Dalesandro: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
McMillin: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Humphrey: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The flop came down {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and McMillin nailed a full house, nines full of fives. That pretty much closed the door on Dalesandro's tournament while Humphrey was now looking for a king.

The turn {10-Hearts} did keep Dalesandro's hopes alive as another ten would give him the win. Humphrey was still in need of a king.

The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts} and McMillin made quads. He won the pot in stunning fashion to scoop in everything and move to 188,500 in chips. Dalesandro was eliminated and Humphrey was left with under 20,000 in chips.

Peters Busts Tolbert

Tolbert has been eliminated
Tolbert has been eliminated

The run of Clint Tolbert in his second World Series of Poker cash ever has ended. David Peters was the one that finished him off in a big preflop flip.

From the hijack seat, Peters raised to 12,000. Tolbert three-bet to 26,000 from the cutoff seat and action folded back to Peters. He reraised all in and Tolbert made the call.

Tolbert: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Peters: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop was {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Peters hit a king to take the lead. The turn {7-Hearts} and river {3-Clubs} provided no help for Tolbert from there and he lost the pot. At final count of the chips, Peters had 154,000 and Tolbert 133,500, which meant Tolbert was eliminated. His second all-time WSOP cash pocketed him $7,520.

Three-Way All In

Jessica Bertrand started a recent hand out by limping under the gun. Next to act was Blake Luther, who moved all in for 91,000. The player on Luther's left immediately called and action folded around back to Hanna. Hanna went deep into the tank, determining what her right move was. Three minutes passed before she flat called.

A {3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop was exposed in the middle, and it was here that Hanna moved all in for around 55,000. The player on Luther's left immediately called and all three players turned their cards over.

Hanna: {J-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Luther: {K-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Luther looked to be in prime position to not only double up, but triple up. A {9-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing, and a {a-Clubs} on the river finalized the hand. Luther was going to triple up to around 295,000, and Hanna was going to win the side pot and have a stack of around 135,000. Luther was clearly very excited to be in the spot, and hopes to make it to day three.

Hello Mr. Wheeler

Jason Wheeler just won a big pot to bust an opponent and move to 535,000 in chips. He had to come from behind to do so when his pocket tens were up against his opponent's pocket kings. A ten flopped and Wheeler won the pot.
