Two Pair For Konjuhi

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Andrew Badecker had the button and he raised to 65,000. Abdyl Konjuhi called in the small blind and the pair checked a flop of {7-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {2-Hearts}. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Konjuhi check-called a 75,000 Badecker bet. Finally we saw the {K-Clubs} on the river and both players checked. When it was time for the big reveal Konjuhi took the pot with {K-} {Q-} for two pair.

Hanks Leads After Taking a Huge Pot From Selbst

In a blind battle we just saw a huge shift in the momentum when Brent Hanks and Vanessa Selbst played a massive pot. The action started off with Selbst raising to 70,000 and Hanks defended his big blind.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Selbst bet 70,000 once again, Hanks called. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Selbst fired out 110,000. Hanks took some time and called once more.

On the river the {8-Diamonds} hit and Selbst tanked for a bit before sliding out a big 520,000 chip bet. Hanks went into the tank and called after which Selbst quickly tabled {9-}{10-}. Hanks had {6-}{6-} for a full house and he beat Selbst's straight on the river. Brent Hanks now has a commanding chip lead over the other five players but it's still anyones game.

Michael Kaufman Eliminated in 7th Place ($65,377)

Right after the break Michael Kaufman started off the action with a raise to 65,000 from the cut-off. Vanessa Selbst was on the button and she opted to three-bet. Both blinds folded and Selbst snap-called when Kaufman moved all-in.

Michael Kaufman{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Vanessa Selbst{A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop brought {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} and it looked like Kaufman was gonna find his much needed double up. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and that opened up a way out for Selbst who was looking to make a straight. When the river brought the {J-Spades} Selbst hit the jackpot and knocked out Michael Kaufman. We are down to six players and the next player to bust will receive $87,231.

Ryan Schmidt raised to 50,000 in first position and Michael Kaufman forced him to fold with a 150,000 three-bet from the hijack.

Then Vanessa Selbst raised to 48,000 under the gun and when the action folded to Abdyl Konjuhi he moved all-in for around 280,000. Selbst decided to make the call and we had a showdown with Konjuhi at risk of an elimination.

Konjuhi{K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}

No magical eight for Selbst and Konjuhi doubled up.
