David 'Doc' Sands was hovering around 6,000 chips when we last saw him, and his Tweet about 60,000 chips really had us wondering what happened to him. We ran into Sands on the break and he told us the following. After chipping up to 28,000 he got it in with against a player with 22,000 chips who was holding . Sands managed to win this massive flip and is now one of the biggest stacks in the room.
Kenny Hallaert just updated us on his tournament and he's doing really good. It could have gone the other way but Carlos Mortensen decided against pulling the trigger. Hallaert raised to 1,000 and Mortensen called, as did the player on the button.
The flop brought and Hallaert threw out 1,650. Mortensen called after which the button shoved for 5,100. Hallaert moved all-in over the top and the former WSOP Main Event champion folded.
