The Fighter and the Stud

Terrence Chan's recent exploits as an MMA fighter are well known. What people must remember is that he is also known as one of the best limit hold'em players in the world.

Jeff Lisandro is arguably one of the best Stud players in the world, with four World Series of Poker gold bracelets coming in Stud variants of the game. These two players are currently at the same table and we caught a recent hand that saw the two rumbling.

From early position, Chan opened up the pot. Only Lisandro called from the small blind and a {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop was dealt. Lisandro checked on the flop and Chan bet. Lisandro opted to call and a {9-Clubs} turn was dealt. This time when Lisandro checked and Chan bet, Lisandro decided to fold and send the pot to Chan.
