Snippits of Action

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Here are three quick hands we caught some of the action in recently.

  • Dwyte Pilgrim and one opponent played down a hand where the board showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Pilgrim bet the flop and got a call. Both players checked the turn and then Pilgrim called a bet on the river. Pilgrim held {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, not strong enough for his opponent's {a-}.
  • We caught play on the turn with a board showing {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} and with Greg Mueller involved in the hand with two opponents. the play was checked to the button player who bet. One player got out of the way, while Mueller check-raised. The button player then raised it again and Mueller called. The {9-Spades} river saw Mueler check-call a bet and then muck when his opponent turned over {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.
  • Daniel Idema and one opponent committed bets on the flop and then checked it down from there as a {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board ran out. They then chopped up the pot when they both turned over {a-}{k-}.
