Day 4 Started
Late last night, Event 24: $5,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8-or-Better concluded with two players remaining, forcing the event to be extended for a fourth day. The two remaining players are Joe Cassidy and Scotty Nguyen.
Going into the heads-up match, Cassidy has the lead over Nguyen with three million in chips to Nguyen's 845,000. When the players return, there will be approximately 20 minutes left in Level 28 with the blinds 25,000/50,000 and the limits 50,000/100,000.
This is the closest Cassidy has come to winning a bracelet. His previous best finish in a World Series of Poker event came in 2004 when he took fourth in the $1,500 Limit Hold'em SHootout. Nguyen, on the other hand, already holds five WSOP gold bracelets and will have the experience on his side.
