Ivey Scoops Matusow, Increases Lead

In a blind battle on a {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop we just caught the action between Phil Ivey and Mike Matusow. Ivey checked to his opponent who bet 6,000 after which he put in a raise to 12,000. Matusow quickly made it 18,000 and Ivey called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Ivey check-called a 12,000 chip bet. On the river the {6-Clubs} hit and Ivey lead out for 12,000. Matusow didn't seem to happy but put in the call.

Ivey tabled {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for the nut flush and a A2346 low and Matusow looked back at his cards in disgust. He mucked his {a-}{4-}{5-}{8-} open into the muck but we couldn't catch the suits as the dealer mucked them quickly.

Ivey is the first player over 500,000 chips while Matusow drop to 220,000.
