Chiu Doubles

Razz:

Ylon Schwartz brought it in with a {J-}, and David Chiu was dealt a {7-} in the window. They raised back and forth right there until Chiu was all in for 430,000. He had started with {7-} {5-} {4-}, and he was in front of Schwartz's {J-} {6-} {5-}. By sixth street, the boards looked like this:

Chiu: ({5-} {4-}) / {7-} {Q-} {J-} {2-} / (x)
Schwartz: ({6-} {5-}) / {J-} {9-} {A-} {J-} / (x)

Chiu's jack-low was the best as the hands laid, but Schwartz found a better low on seventh. He pulled a {4-} to make the ninety-six, and now it was Chiu sweating for his tournament life. He squeezed the card from the side, and he announced that it was three across. That was a good sweat, but he needed it to be a six or an eight in order to stay alive.

It was an {8-}! Chiu can breathe now; he's doubled up with an eighty-seven.
