David Chiu Eliminated in 2nd Place ($164,960)

David Chiu - 2nd place
David Chiu - 2nd place

It's over. David Chiu lasted just a few hands with less than a big bet before succumbing.

Stud Hi/Lo:

David Chiu brought in with the {4-Clubs}, and he got his last 110,000 in right there against Ylon Schwartz's {7-Hearts}. Schwartz started with buried queens, and after six cards, the boards looked like so:

Chiu: {10-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} / {4-Clubs} {A-Spades} {8-Spades} {Q-Hearts} / (x)
Schwartz: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} / {7-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {K-Spades} {6-Clubs} / (x)

Chiu was drawing from behind with one to come, and he announced his outs verbally as he commanded the dealer, "Nine. King. Ace." Any of those cards would do for Chiu, but he could not find an out. He rolled over the {3-Diamonds}, and once again he broke into a big smile.

It was the end of his day, and Chiu gave a big congratulatory handshake to the new champion. The four-time bracelet winner departs with $164,960 as a consolation prize.
