Today, the 2012 World Series of Poker Event #27 $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. will continue with Day 2 action as will the remaining 165 players of an 889-player field battle past the money bubble on their way to the final table. The $1,200,150 prize pool will be distributed to the top 96 players, which will secure each a minimum $2,676 payday, though everyone has their eyes firmly fixed on the $267,081 first-place prize.
Karle “Skip” Wilson begins the day as chip leader with 74,900, but plenty of players a nipping at his heels including Steve Brown (73,600), Jason Brown (71,200), Brandon Guss (63,800), Clifton Ward (61,600), Daniel Idema (58,100), Justin Young (57,000), Mike O’Donnell (56,300), Allen Cunningham (55,200), Huck Seed (52,000), Chip Jett (49,000) and David Williams (45,600), just to name a few.
Who will be the next to add their name to the list of H.O.R.S.E. winners? While we won’t answer that questions here today, we’ll certainly narrow the list as five poker disciplines are practiced: Limit Hold’em, Omaha Eight or Better, Razz, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Eight or better.
