Pandya Survives

Stud Hi/Lo:

Sanjay Pandya was left with just 5,000 after having ante the same amount, which went in when he received the {3-Hearts} bring-in. Elior Sion proceeded to complete, David Rogers called, and their were to active players to the turn.

Rogers ended up check-folding to a bet, leaving Pandya to face off against Sion for his tournament life.

Sion: {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} / {10-Diamonds}
Pandya: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} / {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {3-Clubs}

Much to Sion's dismay, Pandya managed to scoop the pot. With the antes, he is now up to right around 60,000.

Sanjay Pandya Eliminated in 9th Place ($17,150)

Sanjay Pandya - 9th place
Sanjay Pandya - 9th place

Stud Hi/Lo:

Sanjay Pandya completed with the {Q-Hearts}, and Ylon Schwartz thought for a long while before raising with the {K-Spades}. Pandya called all in, and the cards were rolled over and the boards run out.

Pandya: ({A-Spades} {8-Hearts}) / {Q-Hearts} {2-Spades} {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} / (x)
Schwartz: ({9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}) / {K-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} / (x)

Schwartz made two pair on sixth, and Pandya needed to catch a card to stay alive. He needed an ace, eight, or low card to even have a shot. When he squeezed his last card, though, he frowned a shook his head. It was the {10-Diamonds}, and it was no use.

Pandya finished 11th in a Stud Hi/Lo event earlier this summer, and he's added a ninth-place run here in this H.O.R.S.E. event. He'll take more than $17,000 home this time.

Milne Chops

Level 25

Stud Hi/Lo:

Ylon Schwartz brought it in with the {2-Diamonds}, and he called the completion from Marlon Milne and his {A-Spades}. Milne added the {2-Hearts} and bet fourth street. Schwartz pulled the {K-Spades}, and he raised his king-deuce. Milne had 57,000 chips in front of him at that point, and he got them all in right there.

Schwartz: ({A-Hearts} {8-Clubs}) / {2-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {3-Spades} {6-Hearts} / (x)
Milne: ({7-Spades} {3-Hearts}) / {A-Spades} {2-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Clubs} / (x)

By sixth street, Milne was in front for the high half with his pair of threes, but Schwartz had made his eighty-six low. Milne was drawing live for the scoop still, but the {7-Clubs} he rivered only allowed him to take the high.

Marlon Milne Eliminated in 8th Place ($22,358)

Marlon Milne - 8th place
Marlon Milne - 8th place

Stud Hi/Lo:

One hand after their last encounter, Marlon Milne and Ylon Schwartz got it all in again.

Milne: ({8-Clubs} {8-Spades}) / {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} / (x)
Schwartz: ({J-Clubs} {2-Clubs}) / {9-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} / (x)

The chips got in on fourth street in heaving raising action, and Milne's two pair had to fade Schwartz's flush draw. It was Milne who drew the clubs on fifth and sixth, and he had the only low draw with one to come.

Schwartz rolled his river over first, though, and the {K-Clubs} was a disaster for Milne. His two pair were suddenly in a big hole, and a blank river would mean his elimination. The {Q-Hearts} was one of those blanks, and that's the one Milne received on seventh, much to his chagrin.

After a fine run this week, Marlon Milne is headed for the rail. On his way out the door, he'll pick up more than $22,000.

This is Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood

Stud Hi/Lo:

Elior Sion had the bring-in with the {2-Clubs} and brought it in for the full 25,000. Ylon Schwartz made the call with the {4-Diamonds}, and then David Schwartz put in a raise. Sion three-bet, Schwartz got out of the way, and Rogers came back with a four-bet. Scion five-bet and Rogers called off for 119,000 total.

Scion: {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} / {10-Clubs}
Rogers: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} / {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} / {Q-Spades}

Rogers ended up with two pair and was fortunate enough to have Scion miss a low, which means he scooped to more than double.
