Day 3 Started
The 2012 World Series of Poker will continue today with the third and final day of Event #27 $1,500 H.O.R.S.E., which will see the final 18 of an 889-player field battle down to a champion. Leading the way is Ylon Schwartz, who sits on the big stack of 416,000 and has already improved upon last year’s 33rd-place finish in this tournament.
While Schwartz is the Day 3 favorite, others are still in contention for the $267,081 top prize and the gold bracelet including Brandon Guss, Bryce Yockey, Cliff Josephy, Stephen Chidwick, Zimnan Ziyard, Allen Cunningham, Rep Porter, and David Chiu.
Who will be the next to add their name to the list of H.O.R.S.E. winners?

Stud Hi/Lo:
We didn't see many details of the hand, only glancing over to see Michael Chow calling bets against Ben Lukas. We looked back just in time to see Chow call one last bet on seventh, and Lukas liked his hand.
The cards were rolled over and quickly collected, but it looks like Lukas made a straight to the eight with a seven-six low. Chow knew it was bad as soon as he saw it, and he slapped his cards into the muck, dropping more than half his stack in that exchange.

Limit Hold'em:
Action folded to Allen Cunningham in the cutoff and he raised. Both the button and small blind got out of the way, but Benjamin Lukas opted to more than defend as he three-bet from the big blind.
Cunningham made the call and then called a bet on the flop. Lukas didn't slow down though as he fired on the turn, which proved too much for Cunningham.

Limit Hold'em:
We didn't see most of this hand play out, but we did catch the result. Charlie Ng was in middle position, and he was mixed up with big blind Stephen Chidwick in this hand.
The board showed when we walked up to the turn, and we can infer that Chidwick check-called a bet on the flop. On fourth, he check-called again, but he liked the river enough to bet it himself. Ng quickly called.
Chidwick tabled for Broadway, and Ng just shook his head. He eventually mucked, then pounded his knuckles on the felt in frustration.
Ng had a productive start to his day, but he's right back to where he began with about 70,000.

Omaha Hi/Lo:
Allen Cunningham opened with an under-the-gun raise, and Michael Chow called all in for 11,000. Marlon Milne called from the big blind, too, and he bet the flop. That folded Cunningham, and the cards were tabled. Chow had flopped a good one.
Showdown
Chow:
Milne:
Chow's straight had him poised for the pot, and he asked the dealer for a couple blanks. He needed to fade the sixes and sevens primarily, and the turn and river keeps him in the game.

Razz:
A short-stacked Michael Chow managed to get his stack in right off the bat with the best hand against Benjamin Lukas.

Lukas immediately showed that he failed to improve on seventh, which meant Chow locked up the double without even looking at the last card.
