Chidwick Doubles, Cunningham Nearly Felted

We picked up the action on fourth street in a heads-up pot between Allen Cunningham and Stephen Chidwick, two of the short stacks.

Cunningham: (x-x) / {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} / (x)
Chidwick: (x-x) / {J-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {8-Hearts} / (x)

Chidwick called a bet on fourth, then raised on fifth. Cunningham reraised, and Chidwick committed the rest of his chips, rolling over {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} for two pair. Cunningham showed down {A-Clubs} {3-Spades}, and his flush draw had Chidwick sweating.

Cunningham's queen on sixth gave him some more outs to the win, but his seventh street {10-Diamonds} was a blank. Chidwick went ahead and filled up for good measure with the {4-Clubs}, and he's doubled his way back into this match.

Cunningham has just 40,000 chips left.

Razz:

Robby Rasmussen completed with a {3-}, and Stephen Chidwick called showing a {6-}.

Rasmussen: (x-x) / {3-} {8-} {K-} {5-}
Chidwick: (x-x) / {6-} {8-} {5-} {10-}

Rasmussen bet his lead on fourth, and Chidwick did the same on fifth. On sixth, though, Chidwick surrendered with a check-fold, and he's got just over 100,000 chips left with which to mount another comeback.

Post-Stud/8

Table 439 just played a very active Stud Hi/Lo orbit, but the chips didn't change much. After the round, the counts look like this:

Sanjay Gets Run Over By the Chiu-Chiu Train

Omaha Hi/Lo:

Action folded to David Chiu on the button and he put in a raise, which Sanjay Pandya called from the big blind. Pandya proceeded to check-call bets on the {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and {10-Clubs} turn, but ended up check-folding on the {8-Clubs} river, dropping to around 65,000 in the process.

On the flip side, Chiu has continued to roll here on Day 3 and is approaching 500K.

Bryce Yockey Eliminated in 13th Place ($10,669)

Bryce Yockey

Limit Hold'em:

Bryce Yockey managed to get back up to 32,000 when he raised under the gun and cleared the field all the way around to Brandon Guss on the button. He put in a three-bet, Yockey four-bet all in, and Guss made the call.

Yockey: {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Guss: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Yockey was in trouble and in need of some help. He managed to hit an ace on the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop, but unfortunately for him, Guss made a set. The {7-Spades} turn kept Yockey drawing live to either an ace or seven on the river, but it was not in the cards as the {9-Diamonds} appeared.

Yockey took his leave in 13th place for $10,669.

Yockey Crippled, Guss In Charge

Brandon Guss is on a serious charge here with two tables left. He had just over 200,000 chips when this level began, but he's quickly increased that by more than triple.

Stud Hi/Lo:

We joined the action on fifth street, heads-up between Guss and Bryce Yockey.

Guss: (x-x) / {5-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {8-Clubs} / (x)
Yockey: (x-x) / {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} / (x)

Yockey was the one leading the betting when we joined in, firing out on fifth, sixth, and seventh streets. Guss called the first two bets, but on seventh, he snuck in a raise. Yockey's call left him with just 8,000 chips, and he was not going to get any of the pot.

Guss revealed {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} / {5-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {8-Clubs} for the straight and the seventy-six low. Yockey was less than pleased, and he mucked with some frustration to leave himself with just a chip and a chair, essentially.
