Chiu Wastes No Time

Level 27

Omaha Hi/Lo:

On his first hand back from break — the table's second hand — David Chiu got almost his whole stack in.

The pot began with Elior Sion raising under the gun, and Stephen Chidwick three-bet from the button. Chiu cold-called from his small blid, Sion flatted, and off they went three ways.

The flop brought {10-Spades} {7-Spades} {2-Spades}, and Chidwick made his continuation bet. Chiu check-raised, Sion folded, and now Chidwick was the one doing the flatting.

Chiu fired right back out on the {4-Diamonds} turn, but now Chidwick took pause and raised with an eye to Chiu's remaining stack. Chiu called there, then check-called one last bet on the {A-Hearts} river. It left him with just a scant few remaining orange chips.

Showdown
Chiu: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} (flush)
Chidwick: {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} (seven-four low)

Chop it up, fellas.
