Relentless Rubie
Brendon Rubie is running the show thus far at the unofficial final table. In two back to back hands, he added about 400,000 to his stack.
First, he opened to 25,000 in the hijack. Calls from Greg Merson in the cutoff and Timothy Adams in the big blind landed a 
flop. Adams checked to Rubie who bet 48,000. Only Merson came along to see the 
turn where Rubie bet 104,000. Another call from Merson landed the 
river. Rubie fired a third bullet, this one for 269,000. A quick fold from Merson gave Rubie the pot.
The following hand, James Schaaf opened to 30,000 on the button. Rubie re-raised to 95,000 from the big blind, but Schaaf came right back over the top with a four-bet to 200,000. Rubie, though, five-bet to 427,000. Schaaf shrugged his shoulders and quickly folded his hand.
