After just walking around the enormous tournament area one thing that couldn't be missed is the lack of head phones. Very few people have head phones in. Lots of people are actually talking and trading stories at the tables. Instead of the constant rattling of chips you hear hundreds of people talking (and the shuffling of chips). Who knows if this added sense will be any help to anyone, but I am sure it can't hurt.

Out of the 4,032 people playing right now only one player was noticed using an Ipad.

Take away the lack of technology and this is looks like any other tournament on the circuit. The players are here to play poker and just because they might have a little more grey in their hair does not mean they're not some of the best in the world.
