Lots of Callers
We spoke earlier about how there is a lack of headphones creating a more talkative atmosphere. Another huge thing amiss here in the tournament is the lack of cell phones.
The only time people seem to be using their phones is to make calls (a long lost forgotten tool of the cell phone). People aren't updating their twitter, no angry birding, no texting. When a player isn't in a hand they sit, talk, and wait for the next hand to be dealt.
Now granted there are people who are on their phones non stop, but it is remarkable noticeable the amount of people who are not.
This tournament has a different feel than its predecessors. There are bad beats, groans, cheers, and good byes like any other tournament, but in this field it seems like everyone is involved with all the emotions of the table.
